A short par 3 and the first real inland hole. While only 137 metres from the Blue tees, don’t be deceived into thinking the hole is easy as the right-hand side of this two tier green falls away into a deep chipping hollow. The bottom of this short-grassed hollow is always popular with our guest golfers, and proves to be a difficult up and down. Like the 5th hole, the front of the green possesses a mound that not only obscures part of the green, it can make a front hole location difficult to access.

Pro’s Tip: Finding the right yardage for the middle of the green is crucial here, and trying to hit the centre of the putting surface is always a sound plan. The target is long but not overly wide, so a par is a very good score. Do not get tricked into flag hunting because of the short distance, particularly if the flag is at the back right.
