Playing Tips

The first of four fantastic par 3’s. Dependent on wind, you could be playing anything from a wood to a 9 iron here. The green is one of the largest on the course and slopes harshly from left to right. The right-hand side of the hole is an area to stay well clear of as it holds a deep cliff face and several bunkers. It is easy to under club here particularly into the breeze.

Pro’s Tip: There is only one way to play this hole. Take an extra club and aim for the left-hand side of the green. If the grounds staff have been nice and located the pin on the right-hand side of the green, you could well in be for a birdie opportunity as the putting surface feeds generously to these right-side hole locations. If the grounds staff are feeling cruel and place the pin anywhere on the left hand side of the green, good luck.
